Day 1 ROME - NAPLES - POMPEII - SORRENTO

Depart Rome early from Rome toward Naples. Upon arrival to this coastal city you will enjoy a panoramic driving tour of the city, showing you the highlights of Naples before continuing on to the famous ruins of Pompeii. On arrival to Pompeii, you will be taken by your private guide for a walk back in time through the historical city devastated by the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in 79 AD. The guide will take you on a walking tour to the highlights of this most important architectural wonder. After the tour you will be taken to a local Pompeii restaurant for a light lunch and a relaxing break to the day. After lunch you will learn how they make one of the area’s most important crafts; the cameo. Lean how the cameo is made and see some examples of master craftsmanship that is famous from this area. After the visit we will continue on to the Amalfi Coast’s most popular city; Sorrento. You will check into your 4 star hotel and relax a bit or take a walk through the town square. You will enjoy a lovely dinner tonight at the hotel. Welcome to the Amalfi Coast.

Day 2 SORRENTO - CAPRI - ANACAPRI - SORRENTO

Today you will enjoy your breakfast at the hotel before you are taken to one of the most famous islands in Italy; Capri. If the weather permits, you will visit the Blue Grotto where you will see the amazing translucent blue waters this cave system has created. You will continue on to have a lovely lunch in a local Capri restaurant. After lunch, you will have some free time so see Capri before being taken to the highest point of the island; Anacapri. High above the sea; you can see the world from here and the amazing rock structures jutting out from the sea below. Don’t forget to bring your camera because you will have lots of free time to look around. In the late afternoon, you will board your boat for the relaxing ride back to Sorrento. Tonight you will enjoy a lovely dinner featuring the local specialties.

Day 3 SORRENTO - AMALFI - POSITANO - SORRENTO

After a lovely breakfast featuring the best Italian coffees, breads and cheeses you will depart for a journey down the famous Amalfi Drive for the unforgettable views along the coast. You will stop at the town of Amalfi to visit the town square and church and then to the famous town of Positano . The tour will continue to wind down the Amalfi Drive to visit more of the small seaside villages which made this area of coastline world famous. In the afternoon you will return to Sorrento with free time before an enjoyable diner with your new found friends.

Day 4– Free Day

Today is your free day to do as you wish. Take a local bus to see one of the local towns nearby, take a train to Naples or just sleep in, the choice is yours but we will be there to assist with suggestions and smile. Dinner will be at the hotel tonight which will make a perfect end to the day.

Day 5 SORRENTO - ROME

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, morning and early afternoon free to explore before your early afternoon transfer to Rome; arriving approximately 09.30 pm. Because of the late arrival to Rome we recommend
