This program starts in the morning from the center of Florence; your Travel Expert (T.E.) will make sure you have the meeting point and time before you depart for Italy! You begin with a drive along the Viale dei Colli Street up to the amazing overlook and panorama view of Florence in Piazzale Michelangelo. Enjoy great photos from the top of the Florentine hills. After time for photos, continue on for a ride narrated tour of the old city center. This tour is a great way to get oriented to the city if you are saying in the area! After the ride on the coach, disembark and continue by foot with your guide for a gout of the Duomo (main church) Giotto’s bell tower, the Baptistery with its famous bronze doors and the Porta del Paradiso. Discover Florence by Foot (2.5 hours)
This unique program is a must for those of you who want to “get local” and see the city streets as the Florentines do. The program starts in the Market area of Florence made famous by the Medicean Chapels and the Basilica di S. Lorenzo. After in depth descriptions and introductions continue on to the Piazza del Duomo where you will have a visit of the inside of the grand Cathedral* and the famous dome by Brunelleschi. Afterward see the Bell Tower by Giotto, Saint John Bapistery with its Paradise Door. Continue at a leisurely pace for the Medieval area of the city which was the home of Dante Aligheieri. All excursions are organized and guaranteed for a minimum of 8 participants.
During our tours, the guide and accompanying service can be performed in various languages.
The English language is always guaranteed. No reimbursement will be granted to any client who is not at the place of departure at the time established; similarly, no reimbursement will be granted to clients who lose contact with the guide or who do not complete the excursion. If for any reason the organization cancels the excursion, the client may claim reimbursement only of the sum paid. During the periods of greatest attendance, despite of the reservations, the entry to the museums could be subjected to delays against the prearranged timetable, which are not attributable to the organization staff responsibility.
Where, due to operational difficulties or reasons beyond its control (travel conditions, strikes, changes in opening hours, closure of museums, delays or other problems), the organization is obliged to change the program, then an alternative itinerary and/or visits to other museums will be proposed, without any variation to the established tariff, and the client will be informed prior to departure. The organization cannot accept responsibility for damage caused by third parties or for reasons beyond their control, and cannot be held responsible for the loss of valuables, luggage or objects during excursions. The excursions scheduled are covered by third-party insurance for the risks, the indemnity limits and the guarantees laid down in D.L. 111/95 with UNIPOL policy n. 758 65 21225701 |
