The Italian region of Tuscany continues to flourish from its era of astonishing accomplishment and creativity during the fourteenth and sixteenth centuries. During this period of humanism, the Renaissance was born, and individuals such as Dante, Petrarch, and Boccaccio became the creators of magnificent art. Within the region, Florence maintains the position of capital and is home to priceless pieces by Leonardo Da Vinci, Michelangelo, and Brunelleschi.

Another highly traveled area is the island of Elba, located ten miles off the Tuscan shores. The hillsides of this untamed island are rich in foliage and provide for a peaceful, relaxing vacation spot. Above all, Tuscany’s rolling hills, cypress trees, and warm weather create a stunning and memorable landscape.
