What type of Accommodations? What is a Pensioni?
Staying in a good pensione is like being a guest in a private house or like staying with grandmother. The accommodations are simple, clean and welcoming. Don’t expect any frills, room service, front desk or swimming pool; but what you can expect is a down home, genuine experience with Italian locals that you will remember for a lifetime. Rooms vary depending on the facility; they will have private baths and be comfortable and clean. They will not typically have air conditioning and will offer simple but good breakfasts.
